I currently attend the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas pursuing a major in marketing and a minor in journalism with a focus in strategic communications. As an intern writer for the North Texas Daily and Spoon University, I follow my passions for the food industry as a food and lifestyle columnist for both publications. Aside from writing, I am involved in numerous organizations across the UNT campus including the Student Government Association Intern Program, Ad Club and the American Advertising Federation, Public Relation Student Society of America, United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) campus initiative, Rotaract club, and the Mean Green Culinary club.

Intern
Working on the communications team to expand SGA’s presence on social media platforms and advertise the organization's events.
– Launched the campaign Humans of SGA to promote the approachability and inclusivity of this administration by publishing monthly articles about the struggles, victories, and stories of the humans of SGA.
– Collaborating with a team of two fellow Interns and myself to create, plan, and execute a campus-wide event that illustrates UNT’s diversity, inclusivity and unique creativity of every student.

Intern Writer for "The Dose"
Research and keep up to date with the food industry to write articles published on a weekly basis for the opinionated column “The Dose” with a focus on restaurant reviews, product comparisons, and other food-related news. Gain essential skills in collaborating with my respective editors and fellow writers in addition to expanding my network and knowledge of the food publishing industry.

Editorial Director
Re-establish Spoon University, a food and lifestyle online publication for students by students, at the UNT campus. Gain valuable research skills in the process of writing two articles a month in addition to consistently communicating with Spoon Headquarters and weighing in on company-wide initiatives and programs.

I led the charge as chair of the advertising, social media, and community service committees where we doubled our social media engagement from the previous year and created a presence on three additional media platforms. In addition to my work on these committees, I took the initiative to create and administer the first website for our Student Council where we kept the campus updated with upcoming events, service opportunities, and a photo gallery.

A selective writer for the Spoon University Summer Intensive Program where I published an article a week for a 10-week period in collaboration with Spoon University Headquarters and fellow writers across the globe.
